About Stephen
Stephen Gomez is a native San Franciscan. He attended local schools in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of San Francisco with a double major in Communication Arts and English Literature. Continuing his college education at the University of Madrid, he received a degree in Philosophy and Letter. After a brief stint as a creative writer living abroad, he returned to San Francisco and began his residential real estate carrier.

During his more than 40 years as a real estate broker, Stephen Gomez has maintained a strong sense of community and a desire to give back both economically and with his time. He has served on the Board of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation, the Nob Hill Association (San Francisco’s oldest neighborhood association) and on numerous Homeowner Association Boards and Committees. He has worked as a tutor and interpreter at the Episcopal Community Services Adult Education Department and is presently involved with the America Scores Foundation providing after school soccer and poetry classes to underserved public school students. Early on in his carrier Stephen Gomez recognized that Stephen Patton shared his vision of cornering the then emerging high-end condominium, cooperative market.

In those first years as a realtor, he suggested a partnership that has proven extremely effective and fruitful over the last four decades. Demonstrating their strong desire to serve their clients in a professional and selfless manner has set them head and shoulders above the competition. Stephen Gomez has recognized that same unique perspective with his new associates, Ted Bartlett and Victoria Davis. Along with Stephen Patton, this new coalition of like-minded professionals is committed to the unusual concept in their industry of being driven by relationships rather than the immediate transaction. Under the Compass nationwide umbrella, they have created a new and innovative approach to the sale and marketing of residential real estate.
