Stephen is a distinguished real estate professional with over 40 years of experience, beginning his career in San Ramon in 1984 as a second-generation REALTOR®. Known for his expertise in artful negotiation, creative marketing, and adept management of complex transactions, Stephen has earned a sterling reputation based on integrity, commitment, and a profound passion for real estate.

Specializing in residential, income properties, and land development across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, Stephen brings a deep appreciation for the unique characteristics of each property he represents, sharing this enthusiasm with his clients. Having spent more than half his life in the San Ramon Valley, Stephen has cultivated a vast network of industry professionals—from title officers to designers—to deliver unparalleled service and added value to his clients. He oversees a skilled team that manages active listings, transactions, and comprehensive marketing strategies.

Stephen earned his sales license in 1984 and his broker’s license in 1989. With a career sales record surpassing half a billion dollars, he has represented over 800 buyers and sellers, co-founding a successful brokerage firm renowned for uncompromising quality. In 2023, Stephen ranked in the top 1.5% by RealTrends/WSJ, placing him among the top 1.49% of over 1.6 million licensed REALTORS® nationwide.

A native of Fremont, California, Stephen graduated from Mission San Jose High School in 1977 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from San Diego State University in 1981. He attributes his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence to his parents, Babe King and Barney King, who inspired him through their decades-long careers in real estate.

Stephen and his wife Roxanne reside in Danville, where Roxanne has also spent her entire life in the San Ramon Valley. They are proud parents to daughters Alexandria and Vanessa, and son Zachary.
