We just didn't think we were ready. Steve was so patient! He talked with me on the phone for over 30 minutes during our first conversation and outlined all of our options. He wasn't pushy. He was just extremely informational and after this initial conversation, told us to reach out when we were ready. Surprisingly enough, he kept his word and awaited us to call him so we didn't feel pressured into something we didn't feel ready for. Because of the information he provided us, we were able to come to a decision on our own to buy a home. We then reached out to Steve to start helping us find our first home. From day one, Steve continued to give us plenty information and was very accessible via phone or text. As some can imagine, buying a home is a very stressful ordeal because of the random things that are not in your control.
