About Steve
Steve Melanese, born and raised in San Diego, grew up in the College area and attended the University of California, San Diego, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
While in college, Steve’s interest in business management developed as he took on leadership opportunities at his first job at SeaWorld. During his tenure, he had three successful careers, each spanning over a decade in Finance, Marketing and Park Operations. As Vice President of Park Operations, Steve led a park wide team who successfully increased customer satisfaction for many years.
In his career as a Realtor, Steve’s passion for delivering outstanding service, his authenticity and integrity are among what his clients appreciate most. He brings a wealth of experience connecting with people, understanding and delivering their needs and the tenacity to never give up until a goal is achieved.
As a 12-year member of the Board of the Mission Valley YMCA, and most recently as Board Chair, Steve has enjoyed being part of a special and incredible group of people who work tirelessly to enhance communities all over San Diego with a vast array of programs for people of all kinds.
Steve’s passionate about health and wellness, personal finance and enjoys gardening, cooking, exercise and relaxing at the beach.
