Steve Sanders led us on the hunt for a first-year rental. It was he who introduced us to the neighborhoods and different sides of LA. We landed in Franklin Hills, an unbeatable location for newcomers to California. While soaking up our views, scenic walks, and neighborhood charms, over that year we stitched together a wish list and strategy.

We went to more than thirty open houses. Once we had an idea of what was available, we made ready with Steve. He expertly walked us through every hoop and hurdle while keeping a clear mind as our stress went up and down. We made an offer, engaged in a back-and-forth, and the sellers accepted it! Steve went into action, drawing on his network of highly professional inspectors. The inspectors uncovered some costly roof issues. This extended the haggling over contingencies. As the days passed, our reservations grew. In the meantime, a new listing appeared for a house only a few blocks away. We felt it was a more desirable property, and at its listed price, a good value. The market agreed—the house quickly attracted offers from at least six buyers. With Steve’s shrewd advice on offering high but being mindful of our limits, we won out. Steve handled our retreat from the first property.

To the closing and beyond, Steve provided full service and then some, right down to having our new home professionally cleaned right before we took the keys. Communications were timely and on point. No detail was left unaddressed, no questions unanswered. More than that, he kept an even keel while we navigated a fast-moving process that involved staying on top of the two offers at once. We are in our lovely Los Angeles home thanks to Steve!
