About Steve
Steve is a Midwest transplant who believes that care, privacy, and service are vital in representing
buyers, sellers and investors in what is, for many, their largest investment.
Steve listens carefully to a client’s wants and needs to ensure that the search for a new property, or the marketing of an existing property, is as efficient and productive as possible. Steve believes that good communication is a key to a successful relationship with a client and he provides regular updates on the status of all transactions.
Steve applies his experience in negotiating and documenting complex transactions gained in his prior career as an attorney with a large law firm in Indianapolis, Indiana to his work as a real estate advisor in transactions for the acquisition, sale or leasing of real property in South Florida.
Steve is active in the Fort Lauderdale community through his service on Lambda Legal's South Florida leadership council and with Our Fund, a community foundation serving the South Florida community.
Steve graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in accounting and finance, and from The Ohio State University College of Law.
Steve works as part of a team with Lori Mahowald, also of the Barkin Group, with the objective of providing buyers, sellers and investors with a smooth, efficient and enjoyable experience.
