About Steve
Steve C Woodward served as president and CEO of Kirkland’s Inc (public company) from 2018 through 2023, based in Nashville TN. He just recently got his Realestate License and has joined Compass Realty as part of the Woodward group in Dallas. Living in Preston Hollow Steve has a deep appreciation of serving clients and helping them find their dream homes.
Before joining Kirkland’s, Steve was the President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Crate and Barrel based in Chicago. Prior to Crate and Barrel, his career experience in the retail arena included key executive roles as Senior Vice President of Fossil where he grew the Michael Kors watch and jewelry brand into a multi billion dollar global business. Also Executive Vice President of the Bombay company. Other CEO roles plus board experience plus was named Nashville’s CEO of the Year by the Nashville Post.
Steve has recently served as a board of directors of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Steve currently serves on the Dallas Board of the American Heart Association. Steve has a passion for home design and architecture and has completed over 20 custom designed homes. Steve would love to hear about your home dreams and how to make those dreams a reality.
