Steven Meril

Steven Meril brings more than 13 years of New York City real estate experience to The Patty LaRocco Team at Compass, where he serves as Director of Operations. He manages the details behind each transaction, guiding listings and deals from initial preparation and marketing through contract, board approval, and closing.

A graduate of Baruch College, Steven combines extensive operational knowledge with a responsive, service-focused approach. He is particularly experienced in navigating New York City co-op and condo transactions, including contracts, board packages, compliance requirements, managing-agent coordination, and closing logistics. As the central point of contact among agents, clients, attorneys, building management, and vendors, he anticipates potential issues, keeps deadlines on track, and ensures that nothing is overlooked.

A lifelong Upper East Side resident, Steven brings firsthand knowledge of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s neighborhoods, buildings, and distinct real estate markets. His professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and dedication to exceptional service have made him a trusted resource for clients, colleagues, and industry partners.

Outside of real estate, Steven enjoys traveling, staying active, exploring New York’s culinary scene, and taking long-range Onewheel adventures. He is naturally drawn to the history, architecture, and character of the places he visits, interests that deepen his appreciation for New York City and its neighborhoods.
