I am an
educator by inclination and an entrepreneur in practice. I feel very
fortunate that my Real Estate practice provides the best of both these
worlds.
I arrived to the real estate world after 20 years of working outside of
the industry, in the national corporate scene, first with Federated
Retail when department stores were still a “thing” then Marriott
International in their Corporate Housing/Disaster Housing divisions. In
hindsight, those experiences provided me with the foundation upon which I
built my real estate career.
I will say, just as foundational as my corporate experiences were, so
too are my ongoing experiences here in Colorado, 30 years now. I am a
native New Yorker, finishing my graduate school studies in the south in
Literature/Education from West Virginia University. On my way to
California, I stopped over in Colorado to visit family and never left.
So have an east coast perspective with a bit of southern mentality
thrown in, all combined with our very own, very unique Colorado
lifestyle.
Thirty years in Colorado, all on the Front Range. Proud and grateful mom
to two children now young adults on their own, with ongoing
opportunities galore for community involvement (I especially enjoyed
teaching Adult Ed/English as a Second Language. I got to use my teaching
degree). And, it is such a short drive to ski, hike, bike or just
marvel at the mountains. I love the outdoors.
Colorado...............it’s the best!
