Sunny’s real estate career has been defined by both professional excellence and service. She has held numerous leadership roles at the local and state levels, including appointment as a California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) Director, where she also served as an Inter-Board Arbitrator. She chaired the Professional Standards Committee and served on the PRDS Standard Forms Committee for the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors (SILVAR), as well as on Local Government Relations and Membership Committees for the Palo Alto District.

A dedicated civic leader, Sunny currently serves as Membership Director for the League of Women Voters of Palo Alto. She was appointed by the City Council to the Palo Alto Parks and Recreation Commission while also serving on the Parks and Recreation Foundation Board. She twice chaired the renowned Palo Alto Black & White Ball, which supports youth programs and community events. She previously served as a Board Director for the Palo Alto YMCA and Palo Alto/University Rotary Club. Her broader community involvement includes service with the PAUSD PTA Council, Palo Alto

All Schools Fund, and Partners in Education. As a member of the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce Board, she served as Advocacy Chair and was a Founding Director of the Palo Alto Downtown Business Improvement District. She also contributed to the revitalization of Lytton Plaza as a member of Friends of Lytton Plaza.
