She also holds a certification in Hospitality Management from the Institute of Culinary Education, an education that complements her real estate expertise with a unique perspective on hospitality, hotel and condominium development, design, branding, and marketing. Beyond real estate, Susan embraces a lifestyle rooted in curiosity, discipline, movement, and continual growth. A lifelong swimmer and cyclist, she has paddled competitively with the Ke Aloha Outrigger Canoe Club, participating in outrigger canoe races around the world. Her years as a Big Island resident also created lasting friendships and connections throughout Hawaii, where the spirit of Aloha and Ohana remain an important part of her life.

In 2019, Susan expanded her physical practice through training at Body + Pole Studios, exploring pole, hoop, silks, and hammock, while incorporating Pilates into her routine. These disciplines have cultivated strength, balance, flexibility, focus, and resilience, while reinforcing the value of patience, precision, and perseverance. For Susan, the lessons learned through these pursuits extend naturally into her professional life: staying centered under pressure, embracing new challenges, maintaining perspective, and approaching each opportunity with confidence and intention.
