Susan Van Liere

Last September Susan celebrated her 24th anniversary of selling real estate in Marin County. She is an accomplished, high producing Realtor within the Marin Association of Realtors who consistently receives 5-star reviews from buyers and sellers.

Susan has overseen transactions in virtually every price range and strives to meet and exceed her clients’ needs and expectations throughout their transactions. Her goal is always to provide the highest quality of service possible, and she values the word-of-mouth referrals she receives above all else.

Susan first received training and tools for providing remarkable customer service early in her sales career while working as a Corporate Sales Manager for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. She incorporates this experience into every aspect of her real estate business. She’s been recognized with awards for excellence and achievement from her brokerages and is currently ranked by Real Trends as being in the top 1.5% of Realtors Nationwide. She has also been selected to receive the Five-Star Professional’s Real Estate Agent award for the past 8 years consecutively.

Susan has lived in Marin for most of her adult life, after growing up in Atlanta, GA, and graduating from Duke University. She keeps current with the county’s real estate market conditions, and she is knowledgeable about the school districts, towns and neighborhoods, commuting options, and even microclimates. She has always been an active member of her community, volunteering for the Greenbrae Property Owners’ Association, and, when her children were in school, serving on the executive boards of The Redwood High School Foundation and The Kentfield Schools Foundation. She was also an active member of the Kentfield Schools and Redwood PTSAs, the Redwood Hoops Club, and the RHS Music Boosters’ Club.

Finally, Susan is a passionate environmentalist. She was Marin’s first certified EcoBroker, she is currently a designated Green Realtor with the National Association of Realtors, she has been certified as a Green Building Professional with Build it Green, and she has served on the “Green Committee” for the Marin Association of Realtors. Three years ago she installed solar panels and backup batteries at her home and switched to an all-electric vehicle, greatly reducing her carbon footprint as she traverses the county to stay on top of listings and sales in the area.
