Suzanne Garcia has joined and brings a wealth of experience in business and real estate to our team. Her entire professional life has been dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Suzanne was born in Burlingame and raised in San Jose. She earned an AA in Merchandising from FIDM in San Francisco. Suzanne and her husband Michael currently reside in San Mateo and have recently celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Suzanne has also lived in Belmont and they have lived together in San Bruno, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Seattle. She is an avid runner, completing two marathons, enjoys traveling, fashion and food. Suzanne and Michael are the āfavoriteā aunt and uncle to their nieces and nephews and two children in El Salvador through Compassion International.
Suzanne spent 20 years at Nordstrom, with numerous successful assignments in-store management, buying and fashion merchandising. She led the top sales producing division in womenās apparel for the company while focusing specifically on the Bay Area clientele. Suzanne went on to spend the next decade as founder and owner of Chocolate Star Bakery, an independent, award-winning gourmet cookie company in Arizona. CSB included a retail store and e-commerce site to serve customers both locally and worldwide and specialized in corporate gifts. Suzanne returned back to her roots in the Bay Area to work for Williams-Sonoma where she enjoyed the assignment of multi-channel bakeware buyer. Before joining Compass, Suzanne spent 18 months as an integral part of a real estate team here on the Peninsula. Suzanneās commitment to delivering superior service must be from start to finish, and beyond.
