Prior to joining Compass, Tammy worked in advertising sales at USA TODAY in Los Angles. After spending 10 years in media sales, she took the opportunity to follow a lifelong dream and went to culinary school. She worked another 10 years as a pastry chef, where she was able to exercise her ingenuity and gained an extraordinary appreciation for the importance of details. She now brings the creativity, negotiating skills, and discipline from these experiences to her passion for real estate.
Tammy is a Bay Area native and has lived up and down the West Coast in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Walnut Creek, and she found her own little dream home in each city. Through her own experience of extensively remodeling her homes over the years, she has a great eye for design and detail. She brings that experience and vision to her clients when staging and marketing their homes or when looking through a buyer’s lens to see the possibilities and potential of a new property.
In her free time, Tammy loves to cook, wine taste, and take advantage of the great restaurants the East Bay has to offer. She is a retired Ironman triathlete, but still spends as much time as possible cycling all over the East Bay, running trails in Walnut Creek, and swimming with the Walnut Creek Masters Team at Heather Farms Park. Tammy is a C.E.R.T volunteer for emergency preparedness in Walnut Creek, where she lives with her husband, Evan, and their rescue boxer, Annie.
