"We were very lucky to work with Tana to help us find and purchase our first home (in Alexandria). She did an excellent job helping us focus on what we wanted and showing us options that we would have never considered without her guidance. In fact, we initially dismissed (based on online photos) the house that we eventually purchased. However, Tana insisted that we should visit. We fell in love with at first sight and immediately entered into a bidding war with another prospective buyer. Tana wrote us a very aggressive contract, which was accepted by the seller even though our final bid was significantly lower than the other buyers. We are immensely grateful to Tana for that. She also deserves a lot of credit for her patience taking us to see over 20 properties and for always addressing our evolving requirements. She has a good taste for quality and will not push any properties on you that she thinks are sub par. Our only complaint is that she is somewhat biased for homes in Vienna, but this is understandable as Vienna is her home base and, in either case, she still did an excellent job showing us properties in Arlington and Alexandria once we decided that we needed something closer to the city.
