Ted is a proponent of well planned and creatively financed affordable and market-rate high-density housing development throughout San Francisco.
Ted is a San Francisco native. He graduated from Cathedral School for Boys, University High School, and UC Berkeley. He is a member of The Olympic Club and The Guardsmen. He has served on the board of University High School and the UC Berkeley Alumni Association. Ted began his real estate career in Berkeley in 1987 as an incoming freshman when he purchased a dilapidated nursing home near campus, expanded it, and converted the property to student housing. He graduated with a B.A. Social Sciences and City and Regional Planning, started as a Vista Volunteer for Asian Inc., was promoted to project manager for a 24 unit affordable housing project, worked as a project manager for Fisher general contractor, and Chevy’s building restaurants. Ted joined McGuire Real Estate as a realtor in 1999 and was “Rookie of the Year”. Since then he has become recognized as a leader in San Francisco Real Estate Sales with national acclaim.
Ted lives with his wife Donna and their two teenage daughters.
