About Carly

For Carly Riley, real estate is not about numbers; it’s about life. Buying, selling, or investing in property is a considerable investment, and she takes her role as an advisor during these major life moments to heart. Real estate is also about balance, preferring to take on only as much as will enable her to deliver levels of personal touch and attention to every client. Treating clients like family is a value she holds dear. That’s not hard to imagine, given that almost 85% of her business comes from happy client referrals.

A native Texan, Carly grew up in Dallas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin before transferring to the University of Idaho where she earned her BS degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. After almost ten years living in Idaho and Washington, Carly returned to Texas in 2006 to be near family. She remembers frequenting open houses with her mom as a young girl. Her career began in technology and marketing, but she soon found a way to her first love as she started flipping houses on the side. Carly got her real estate license in 2009.

Carly is thrilled to utilize a suite of cutting-edge marketing tools and the full breadth of the Compass network for her clients’ real estate challenges. Her clients appreciate the broad spectrum of service she offers, playing to many strengths and expertise.

Carly is a Broker Associate, REALTOR, a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure) certified, and she has earned the SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designation. She also has SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and ISDP (Interior Staging and Decorating Professional) designations. Carly has been a Platinum Top 50 Austin Award winner or finalist every year since 2013. She was also a finalist in the Austin Business Journal Residential Real Estate Awards in 2014 and 2017.

Outside of work, she enjoys seeing live music, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her 2 adult daughters, experiencing all that the city has to offer. A love of travel keeps her on-the-go, but she always appreciates coming home to the city she loves.

Carly specializes in residential real estate and focuses on sellers, buyers, and investors in and around Austin. With a keen understanding of how central these transactions are to people’s lives, she loves helping clients navigate the process and ensure that their investment is solid.
