In addition to delivering results for its real estate clients, the team believes deeply in the importance of leading by example and giving back to the community. The team is known for its work sponsoring new educator events with the Denver Public Schools, bringing meals to the homeless, cleaning up local streets and alleys, organizing a tree planting, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, speaking with elementary school students about real estate as a profession, participating in conversations with high school students on challenges and opportunities relating to the American dream, donating food and school supplies to public schools, regularly supporting the Women’s Bean Project, and much more.

In 2020, David Schlichter was elected to serve a two-year term on the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, where he hopes to be able to advocate for strengthening the education and training requirements for Colorado real estate agents to ensure that consumers receive the highest level of representation possible while continuing to deliver award-winning representation to his clients.
