I was looking for a needle in a haystack and had been to so many showings before I met Theresa. I can't count how many more open houses I dragged Theresa into after that, over the course of a year+, but there were a LOT. I finally found an apartment that I wanted, and Theresa stuck with me the whole way through. Theresa is eternally positive, endlessly patient, spreading her optimism in all of the moments where I was losing hope, making herself available so so easily, and completely understanding of my tastes and priorities. Theresa listened carefully to what I was looking for. When we saw crummy apartments, we both knew it, and she never pressured me to settle on anything. And when I finally found "the one", Theresa successfully steered me through a miraculously fast closing, which was of particular importance to me. I first saw the apartment on a springtime Sunday morning and we closed exactly 52 days later. 52 days! Follow-up visits, offer, negotiation, acceptance, inspection, mortgage application, coop board application and interview... all in 52 days in New York City. Wow. Theresa was a complete joy to work with -- and obviously, completely knowledgeable of the market and the purchase process -- and I can't recommend her strongly enough.

I first worked with Theresa in November 2022 when I moved to NYC and was looking for my first rental. Navigating the competitive rental market here can be overwhelming, but Theresa helped set realistic expectations around price point and location, and she delivered quickly. Within just two and a half weeks, she secured me a fantastic apartment in Astoria: first floor in a three-story building, only four minutes from the subway, and under $2,100/month (utilities included). On top of that, her strong rapport with the landlady built trust and ultimately helped seal the deal for me. Because of that positive experience, when I decided to purchase my first co-op in Queens in December 2023, choosing Theresa again was a no-brainer. Even though her main focus area is Manhattan, she went above and beyond to explore Queens options with me. She adapted quickly, built new local contacts, and was incredibly patient throughout the process. In the end, I found a home that checked every box on my list. While it was slightly over my original budget, Theresa skillfully structured the deal in a way that worked for me as the buyer and was acceptable to the buyer and the co-op board. What impressed me most was her thorough preparation for the board approval process. She even conducted mock interviews with me, which had me more than ready when the time came. Thanks to her guidance, the approval process went smoothly, and I am now in a home I am able to enjoy. Theresa is reliable, knowledgeable, and truly invested in her clients’ success. Without her, I doubt I would have been able to navigate the NYC housing market as smoothly as I did. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted partner in their real estate journey.
