About Thomas

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Williston Academy, Hobart College, and Boston University Law School. Married to Nancy W. Leonard with two daughters, Jessica Grant and Tegan Rodgers. Founded Dean and Hamilton | Compass in 1972.

An avid sailor and two-time 210 New England Champion. Tom is also a golfer, Porsche Cub of America racer, and gardener. Tom is a member of The Cohasset Yacht Club, The Cohasset Golf Club, and The Mill Reef Club, Antigua, W.I.

Tom is also an enthusiastic supporter of many institutions that present the visual and performing arts in and around the Boston area. He is a longtime Trustee of the Huntington Theatre, a past President and current board member of the South Shore Art Center, and is on the Board of Advisors for The Fenway Studios. Tom and Nancy are supporters of the BSO and members of The Higginson Society.
