About Tim
I'm a full-time Principal Agent with Compass RE and have called the East End home since moving to Pittsburgh from New York City in 2008. I've helped countless buyers and sellers navigate Pittsburgh's increasingly dynamic real estate market, and I'm obsessed with the neighborhoods, architecture, small businesses and cultural offerings that make this city what it is. Partnering with clients to find the perfect match for their next chapter in life has been a natural fit.  

Like many in real estate, I found my way to this business after a successful career in another field. For ten years, I worked in the nonprofit sector, with an extensive background in fundraising, donor and board relations, marketing, photography, and event planning and management. Iā€™m honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Silver Eye Center of Photography here in Pittsburgh and volunteer at the Environmental Charter School, where our two kids attend.

My past positions and skills enable me to be an effective and discrete communicator for clients, and one who holds confidentiality in the highest regard, with experience gained through interactions with senior nonprofit organization staff, board members, donors, and volunteers. 

I am well-positioned to advise first-time homebuyers as well as those relocating to this city on the challenges and opportunities available in this market. On the listing side, I've helped clients prepare for, market and successfully negotiate the sale of dozens of properties, from multimillion dollar estates to starter homes, condos and investment properties. In recent years I've also come to focus on listing luxury rentals in Lawrenceville, the Strip District and Downtown.
