Hello! I’m Tom Casey, a Chicago firefighter and Realtor with Compass. I’m not here to convince you to buy or sell. I’m here to help you decide whether you should.

Real estate decisions can have a major impact on someone’s finances and their life. I take that responsibility seriously. If I think a buyer should walk away from a property, I will say so. If I believe a homeowner would be better off waiting to sell, I will tell them that too. I would rather lose a deal than give advice that is not in my client’s best interest.

Several clients have told me that this is what they value most about working with me. They know that I am not trying to steer them toward the outcome that benefits me. My role is to give them an honest assessment and help them understand their options. Once we know what the right move is, I do everything I can to help them execute it successfully.

I work throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. My clients include homeowners, buyers, investors, and developers. Some come to me ready to make a move. Others simply need someone they can trust to help them think it through. Either way, I absolutely love what I do, and I would be thrilled to be a resource for you throughout your real estate journey!
