Tom Christianson

Tom's journey in real estate is marked by a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and deep expertise. Growing up in Seattle, WA, and attending college in Oregon, Tom met his wife, Alison. After graduating in the early 1980s, they moved to the Bay Area, where Tom embarked on a career in Commercial Real Estate in Silicon Valley, focusing on Apartment and Office building sales.

In 1987, Tom and Alison ventured into entrepreneurship with an invention Tom created, marking the beginning of a 30-year career in invention design, product development, import management, and marketing. Their innovative products found their way into major retailers such as The Sharper Image in San Francisco, Costco, Wal-Mart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, and Amazon, among others.

After selling their business in 2018, Tom and Alison rekindled their passion for real estate in Napa Valley, the community they have cherished for over 38 years and where they raised their two grown children. Their experience has been instrumental in their success with the Dotty Hopkins and Associates team and has laid the foundation for their own venture, NapaLux Properties. Here, they are committed to assisting old friends, new friends, and everyone in between in achieving their real estate goals.

Tom is a Certified Real Estate Planner, a designation that equips real estate professionals to guide families in planning investment strategies, wealth transfer among generations, and tax savings through real estate.
