"It may be odd to say that your real estate agent is one of your favorite people, but I know of no other way to describe Toni Nicolo. I had never purchased a home in the City, and was torn about when I wanted to move, where I wanted to move, or even what type of home I wanted to buy – I felt overwhelmed and daunted, and told Toni that I had no idea how or when or where to begin. Toni jumped into action, and had me send her some apartments and homes I liked – and she was off. She started making appointments, made herself available at all hours and all days, and put up with me looking at places in both Manhattan and basically every corner of Brooklyn. Toni honed her determination and negotiating prowess working as a litigator for more than a decade. She also nurtured her love of design as the proprietor of a Boerum Hill home furnishings store. In real estate, Toni is particularly skilled at understanding and connecting with people, assessing their needs, and providing thorough education and advice.
A native New Yorker, Toni is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. Having resided in Brooklyn since the 1990s, she is proud to remain rooted here with her husband and two children. She enjoys being surrounded by friends and family and dancing to music, whether in her living room or the cycling studio. Being a positive member of her community is of tantamount importance to Toni, and she gives generously to a variety of causes, including organizing an annual team for NY Cares Winter Wishes.
