About Tony
Tony Ford represents buyers and sellers of complex real estate assets throughout California’s North Coast and select Western markets. With $700+ million in transactional volume, his practice is centered on agricultural properties, land, vineyards, ranches, and legacy estates, advising clients on both on-market and off-market acquisitions and dispositions.

Tony’s services mirror those of a principal advisor, encompassing asset sourcing, valuation, market positioning, negotiation, due diligence, entitlement strategy, and transaction execution. His platform provides clients direct access to a deep professional network including PCA’s, vineyard managers, engineers, designers, land-use consultants, reservoir and grading contractors, and regulatory specialists, allowing for a fully integrated, end-to-end advisory approach.

His reputation is built on value creation beyond the transaction, frequently assisting clients with vineyard development strategy, grower relations, wine brand formation, and long-term asset optimization. While his core territory spans Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake Counties, Tony routinely advises on assets across the broader Bay Area, greater California landscape, and select out-of-state ranch and land holdings, particularly where lifestyle, water, and long-term stewardship intersect.

Raised in a vineyard family and a third-generation grape grower, Tony grew up working the land and today operates his own estate vineyard along the Russian River. That firsthand experience informs his disciplined, ground-truth approach to underwriting rural assets—balancing operational realities with market dynamics.

Outside of business, Tony is deeply committed to family, the outdoors, and conservation, spending much of his time hunting, fishing, and traveling the West with his four sons. That lifestyle alignment allows him to connect authentically with clients seeking not just an investment, but a legacy asset meant to be owned, worked, and passed on.

Tony approaches his advisory work with a simple philosophy: be the hardest worker in the room, bring clarity to complex decisions, and protect his clients’ long-term interests. After two decades of building ironclad relationships, the majority of his business is driven by referral and repeat clientele, a reflection of trust earned through execution, discretion, and results.
