Ever since visiting San Diego in 2015, Travis knew that his family would one day call this beautiful place home. Current La Costa residents, he and his wife, Laura, a Carlsbad native and art advisor, were drawn to the sunshine, community, and coastal charm of San Diego. Together with their young son, August, they enjoy the family-friendly lifestyle; some of their favorites include a day at Moonlight Beach, the Cardiff Reef tide pools, grabbing a donut at VG’s, or an ice cream cone from Handel’s.
Originally from New Jersey and one of four siblings, Travis deeply values family, connection, and being actively involved in the community. His passion lies in helping individuals and families find a home while introducing them to the numerous intangible benefits that life in San Diego has to offer.
Travis Martin brings a wealth of experience from major markets and over a decade of real estate expertise to Compass San Diego. Travis began his real estate career in New York City, later broadening his expertise to the West Coast in Los Angeles. His background spans new development construction, having been involved in over $3 Billion of cumulative project value, as well as real estate investing, and working with a diverse range of clients—from first-time homebuyers to those with more established portfolios.
