" We worked with Tyler to find us a new place to live in NYC—after owning several houses in the NJ suburbs for almost 30 years. It was a challenge both for us and for —trying to find something that would work for us, for our daughter graduating from college, and for our two dogs, after living in houses more than twice the size, with large yards, driveways, garages, pools, etc. From the beginning, Tyler explained in detail what we should expect and be prepared for, and patiently walked us through all the process steps and myriad options. He was also extremely patient and supportive going with us to the multiple neighborhoods, buildings and apartments we thought we wanted—and going back to several places 3 and 4 times. Throughout the process, he was always timely in his response and follow-up on issues as they arose. When we finally made a decision, he negotiated vigorously on our behalf—both on the price and the longer lease we wanted (which the landlord didn’t want to give). Even after we signed the lease, he pushed the landlord once again to let us delay our move-in by a month because of the coronavirus issues—without any penalties or additional cost to us.
