Valerie Pondel brings energy, expertise, and a relationship-driven approach to every real estate journey, making complex moves feel clear and manageable.

Born and raised in the South Suburbs of Chicago, she spent nearly a decade managing residential and commercial properties before earning her real estate license in 2019. She quickly gained traction on a top-producing Chicago team and joined Compass’s award-winning Second City Agents in 2022, where she continues to grow her business through a client-first, transparent approach.

In 2025, Valerie relocated to Fox River Grove while continuing to serve clients across Chicagoland. She now works with both city and northwest suburban buyers and sellers, offering a well-rounded, hyper-local perspective on a wide range of markets and lifestyles. Backed by a highly collaborative team, she provides access to trusted vendors, off-market opportunities, and strong support at every stage.

With a degree in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago and experience in new construction, Valerie brings a strategic, detail-oriented edge to pricing, negotiations, and evaluating homes.
