Valery and her husband, Don have been married for 38 years and enjoy all things outdoors together including boating, jet skiing, water, and snow skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and cooking. Golf is a large part of desert life and Don is an avid golfer. Playing with their two goldendoodles, Cody and Cooper top Valery and Don's list of fun things to do. 

Giving back to the community has long been an important part of Valery's life as a contributor and volunteer to a variety of charities include City of Hope, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Cancer Society and Martha's Village and Kitchen.
