About Vinay
Vinay is originally from the Chicagoland-area and is a recent addition to the Compass team. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, with Distinction, from the University of Illinois @ Urbana/Champaign and an MBA from Rice University in Houston.
Vinay has worked in the Finance organizations of such Fortune 500 companies as Baxter International, Yum! Brands, PepsiCo, and ConAgra Foods. Within those roles he has led multi-year strategic plans, managed cash flow, analyzed the marketplace and competitive landscape, and ensured that the companies were meeting their financial objectives. Vinay has also served as the Chief Development Officer for Avid Solutions LLC, one of Chicago’s premier short-sale negotiation companies. While at Avid he was instrumental in identifying new sources of funding and creating successful relationships with banks and other real estate companies. He also gained a lot of valuable experience negotiating short sales with lending institutions.
One of Vinay’s passions is helping those less privileged and he has always found it important to give his time and resources to various causes. He has been a mentor with and on the Junior Board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago along with being an active volunteer with other organizations such as Imerman Angels. Vinay has also spent two months volunteering in India traveling to various parts of the country to oversee different social projects. Currently, Vinay is one of the founders of Causemic Connections, an events’ company through which money is raised for various non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland-area.
Vinay brings his diverse experience and skill sets with him to Compass where his passion for helping people will drive him to succeed in finding the best solutions for his clients.
