At 14 years old, Wes secured his first job working at Chick-fil-A, which has been a foundational pillar to his second - mile service today. He was introduced to real estate at 19 years old, while at Georgia Southern University, dually earning a B.S. in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Forensic Science. He shares the authenticity of his testimonial with his clients and peers, that if you show a 19 year old a real estate commission check, things very quickly turn and become about money. He was that 19 year old. One day, he sat down with his mentor while grieving about his lack of success in real estate, and his mentor reminded him that; "Wes, you're in the business of serving and you're here to help people navigate through one of the biggest decisions they'll make probably outside of marriage. There is a level of service that's required to have a seat at this table. If you serve the client (the first mile), and go above and beyond their expectations (the second mile), you'll never have to worry about the thing you think you're worrying about. Simply put the client's needs first and every time they hear someone speaking about buying or selling a home, they'll be able to say "I Know A Guy!" and not just because that's your last name." Since then, Mr. Guy's life has forever changed.
From being the former youth AAU Basketball Coach of the Year, to lead chair in the Marching Band, to Mr. Georgia Southern University, Co-founding a mentorship and scholarship program for Freshmen College Students at Georgia Southern University, and now a Top 5% Producing Realtor in Georgia, Wes has accomplished many milestones that has allowed him to create space for others to sit at the table with him. "Before I met Wes, I fired THREE PREVIOUS Realtors, because collectively, my home was sitting on the market for over 6 months. Everyone I met all promised me they could get my home sold, and it didn't happen until Wes put the game plan together. "Work with the Best, our 'Guy' Wes! We are elated to be in our dream home. What an experience! We were out showing one day in this pristine neighborhood and the home we were looking at didn't quite check off all of the boxes, but we wanted a specific area, and weren't really in a rush to compromise. All we know is as we were exiting out the community, he tells us to wait a second. He gets out the car, and next thing we know we're walking through one of the neighbors home and we're in absolute awe of how much we love their house...and how did he even get access to this?
