"I waited a few weeks to write as oftentimes there is too much excitement at closing and something less than genuine may be written. So understand, this is accurate. I'll start with Yaakov's personality; He is fresh, funny, very intelligent, and patient. He quickly and accurately picked up on the parameters for the house search I was interested in. He showed me numerous houses that I had asked to see and even less that he recommended. I ended up purchasing one of the few he recommended. (I wasted more of our time than he did.) He was to the point and was cognizant that I was taking time off work to look. Further, he told me the truth about each house. He wasn't aiming for the highest commission nor the fastest sale. He was interested in finding me a home. When it came to the actual purchase, I chose a very difficult foreclosure swap. This is where Yaakov's skill and knowledge proved invaluable. He introduced me to the first layer of what I will call "Team Yaakov". His mortgage gal was 10 times better than the person I intended to use. Not only was she responsive, and answered texts after hours on occasion, but she understood the timing sequence. He brought in a real estate attorney due to the complexity of the purchase. His guy paid for his wages and then some due to catching "sneaky" clauses and then arguing for my favor after a few open violations were discovered and his added clauses saved our hide. If you ever need an excellent real estate attorney, look up Jonathan Benitah. I can tell you that Jonathan and Yaakov tag-teamed the bank's team and really worked hard at saving me money and ensuring everyone did as agreed. Yaakov and his team were professionals through and through... Even post-purchase Yaakov was helpful. My roofer decided he had bigger projects to complete so canceled the day before he was supposed to start, Yaakov recommended a company that came in $400 lower than the lowest bid and started with the repair the next day. All in all; Yaakov was the most professional and well-put-together real estate agent I've ever worked with. I highly recommend Yaakov Waldman and suggest using him and "Team Yaakov"."
