Zachary Szwed

Originally from the Washington DC area, Zack came to New York City for an internship and quickly knew he would build a life and career here. After obtaining a degree in Accounting from James Madison University, Zack moved to the city and spent the first few years of his career in the fashion industry as a merchandiser and account executive. Dealing with the exacting standards of his clients and coordinating with teams in Italy, Zack built a strong reputation for client service and a diligent work ethic. He then decided to combine those skills with his love for the city and put them to work in real estate.

Zack believes that preparation is critical in finding the right home for his clients. He takes the time necessary to ask the right questions, find the right properties, and tailor each client's experience to maximize results. He strives to make the process efficient and enjoyable for his clients and he loves sharing his knowledge of the city.

Joining the Freiberg-Cella team, Zack is excited to work alongside two New York real estate veterans in Ed Freiberg and Jon Cella. His dedicated and thoughtful approach to the business fits seamlessly in with the Team's holistic philosophy being the client's greatest advocate for all their real estate needs. In addition, Zack's skills are elevated with the technological tools available at Compass, creating a fun and collaborative process for each of his clients.

In his free time, Zack enjoys exploring new places in the city, competing in various athletic activities, building his record collection and playing the guitar.
