我常住在旧金山湾区，从事房地产的工作。听起来是个很现实的行当，可我总觉得，这世上的房子，不只是钢筋水泥，还有阳光照进屋角的温度，还有人在窗前沉思、在厨房笑着切水果的生活气息。
很多人认识我是房地产顾问，但他们大多不知道，在进入这一行之前，我是学材料科学出身的。那是一条严谨而孤独的路。大学读的是上海一所211重点高校，主修材料科学与工程；后来远走他乡，在美国马萨诸塞大学（UMASS）念了博士，研究高分子材料。那时候的我，天天和实验室的试剂瓶为伍，和数据死磕。求学与科研的过程，并不轻松，却让我学会了耐心，也培养了我观察细节、思辨问题的习惯。
为了继续探索，我回到中国，进入国家纳米科学中心做博士后。在原子与分子的尺度中，我学会了如何看清复杂中的秩序，学会了怎样在纷繁琐碎里提炼本质和意义。
再后来，我进了上市公司的国家重点实验室，做高级研发工程师，研究建筑用的高性能材料。这一段经历，使我对房屋的结构、材料的性能，有了切实的理解，也悄然种下了我对空间与居所的兴趣。那时候，我隐隐约约意识到，我对“建筑”背后的“人”更感兴趣。我开始喜欢想象：这些材料，最终会变成谁的屋顶，谁的地板？那些房子，会不会有孩子在那里画画，会不会有某个人，在夜里望着窗外的月亮偷偷想家？
于是我转身，走入了房地产的世界。但我没有把过去丢掉。我用数据来判断价值，用逻辑分析趋势，也用一双被科研磨得很细腻的眼睛，看房子的结构、它隐藏的翻新潜力，甚至看它有没有“家”的可能性。
我不太会说大话，但我知道，无论是买房、卖房，还是投资，只要你愿意坐下来和我谈谈，我都能给你一个清清楚楚、稳稳妥妥的方向。在这个节奏极快的时代里，我愿意慢一点，稳一些，像朋友一样听你说，也会像工程师一样为你算好每一步。
