Many years ago, my parents decided to remove themselves from the heat and the "rat race" of Phoenix. Since they were in love with the White Mountains, they decided to search for the perfect property in the Show Low Area. After researching many possible prospects, they happened along a secluded place out on the old Rim Road. This place was perfect for their dream. To be secluded, but not far from town, to be surrounded by nature, and to be able to craft their dreams, and live life as they wanted. Surrounded by wildlife and tranquility, they started their journey. One of the first "hurdles" they had to jump was the water supply. Most wells in the area were only about 125 foot deep. Sure, they hit water, but the quality was poor, and in the summer, would dry up. So, they decided to drill 800 foot deep, to hit one of the best, clearest and tastiest water supplies in all of Arizona, the Coconino Aquifer. Now water has never been an issue. They built 3 rental cabins in the rear of the property. So they could make a living as well as cater to those who desired thesame peaceful retreat as they did. They soon became very popular, even without advertising. They were booked every weekend. They installed a separate septic for the cabins and connected them to a separate power meter. Each one has a fireplace and small porch. Perfect for enjoying the weather and passing wildlife. There is also a beautiful 5 foot tall fence that surrounds the property, to help ensure the serenity. This has been my home for 9 years now. Mom and Dad are no longer with us, but, the dream lives on. If you REALLY want to experience a slice of heaven, come take a look for yourself.
