Sunrises to the east, are equally a spectacular orange, across a broad sky, in the summer, while sunsets to the west, toward nearby Graves Mountain, delight in their red and pink brilliance. Nights throughout the year reveal a brilliantly dark county sky, speckled with dazzling stars.
