She developed the park adjoining the waterfalls, one of the most sightly spots in this section, and in 1927 constructed her home adjoining the waterfalls and which she named “Beside Still Waters.” Edwin B. Goodell from a Boston firm designed her home and appears to be the primary architect who worked along with Schofield to design the Nubanusit Park Homes. Landscape Architect Fletcher Steele, also from Boston, designed her gardens at “Beside Still Waters” along with other projects in the area. Features of this well-maintained 4 bedroom, 2 bath home have been preserved, With careful attention to design and detail of the interior, the same is true of the exterior.
