The community allows horses and has a low real estate tax of $14.00 annually. This low tax rate is due to an existing grazing lease in the area. The community's covenants and restrictions (CC&Rs) are designed to ensure tasteful residential development and protect property values, prohibiting mobile homes and manufactured housing. Water for the homesites is supplied by privately owned wells, and the community has underground electric service and a county-approved septic system. High-speed internet via Starlink is available. The community is accessible via a well-maintained, community-graded road network. The community is located near historic Tubac, known for its arts and crafts, and is approximately 62 miles from Tucson International Airport.
