Alison Sewell is a proud sixth-generation Texan, well-versed in both residential and commercial real estate, with a strong focus on land and ranch sales. Her deep Texas roots trace back to German immigrant ancestors who arrived in Galveston in the 1800s and settled in Tomball. Raised in the historic neighborhoods just beyond downtown Houston, Alison has always called the Bayou City home.
Alison began her real estate career in residential high-rise development before transitioning into on-site sales and new construction, representing some of Houston’s most respected inner-city builders and developers. She later expanded into single-family home sales, serving as a new-home sales consultant for several of the area’s top builders.
Her lifelong love of horses and wide-open spaces led her naturally into land and ranch sales, where she combines her deep market knowledge with a personal passion for country living. Alison is also passionate about the preservation of historic properties, both residential and commercial, and actively seeks opportunities to protect and promote Texas’s architectural heritage.
Today, Alison splits her time between her home in The Heights and her working horse farm in Waller, TX. Licensed since 2002, she brings over two decades of experience in Houston's urban core as well as its surrounding rural communities.
Outside of real estate, Alison is deeply involved in the equestrian and ranching communities. She has dedicated countless hours to SIRE, Houston’s Therapeutic Equestrian Center, and serves as both a volunteer and competitor on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Cutting Horse Committee. She’s a proud member of the American Quarter Horse Association, the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the Saltgrass Trail Ride Association (riding with the award-winning Wagon "The Desperados"), and is also a Ranchers Ride member.
Alison is a devoted stepmom to two active teenagers and values the balance between her family life, farm life, and professional work. She is also deeply grateful for the dedicated team she has assembled and the strength of the Compass network, which gives her clients access to top-tier tools, technology, and marketing reach across the country.
