Peggy Murdock Ferris is a sixth generation Washingtonian. She graduated from The Madeira School and The Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. She also holds a Masters Degree from Trinity College. Before beginning her career in real estate, Peggy taught art in both the Montgomery County and the District of Columbia public schools. In addition to her real estate career Peggy founded a nonprofit called Sustainable Environments for Health and Shelter. She has two daughters: Margaret, who is studying for her MD/PHD at the University of Illinois and Marianna, who recently married and is singing jazz in addition to teaching voice in San Francisco.
Molly Peter grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut. She earned her B.A. at Sarah Lawrence College where she was a Rockefeller Fellow in Women’s History. During her college years she earned money by being an Arthur Maury dance instructor. Molly moved to Washington, DC to work for several non profits dealing with pay equity for women and then went into the Federal Government. Molly then was invited to become the first Washington editor of Glamour Magazine. Later, Molly went on to produce the Washington-based Charlie Rose television program. Molly developed her business acumen by owning 5 DAVID’S COOKIE stores in the DC area before beginning her Real Estate career in 1987. Molly is married to Jeffrey Jay, a psychotherapist, with whom she has four children and they live in Bethesda. She is actively involved with the giving group Many Hands. Her expertise is working with listings, down-sizing, moving elderly relatives to safe living options and first time home buyers.
Judith W. Levin, a fourth generation Marylander, holds a B.A. from Simmons College. She has held a real estate license since 1968, is a former Director of both the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors and of the Board of the Washington DC Association of Realtors. From 1972-1983 Judith held executive positions in the Women’s National Democratic Club culminating in a two year term as president. While in office, she conducted speaking and lobbying efforts, & managed a three-million dollar budget. Judith is married to Robert N. Levin, a lawyer specializing in litigation and real estate. Judi and Bob live in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Meredith Margolis has lived in downtown DC since 1995. She has been a real estate agent since 2006. Before pursuing a career in residential real estate, Meredith was a business development manager for the law firm of Arent Fox. Prior to that, she pursued her combined love for art and retail to open a paint-your-own pottery studio located off of Dupont Circle. Meredith is a past Board Member for the Washington Project of the Arts. She currently is a member of the Board of the Washington DC JCC. Originally from Baltimore, she resides in Dupont Circle with her husband, a Real Estate Developer, and her two children.
