"I chose Matthew as my listing agent after several enthusiastic recommendations from others in my building, including from a seller whose unit had just sold quickly and above ask, despite listing during the pre-election and COVID-related slowdown. I enjoyed working with Matthew. He is honest, professional, hard-working, and client-focused. His experience, knowledge of the ATL market (especially Midtown), and his thorough research on comparable apartment sales allowed me to price my apartment correctly and with confidence. Throughout the process, Matthew responded to my calls, emails, and questions quickly, was extremely easy to work with, and kept me informed every step of the way. He also recommended a great (and affordable) painter, used a fantastic photographer and had his team stage my apartment for a “wow” factor that generated strong interest in the listing. Matthew also worked tirelessly to get my sale closed by year-end as targeted. He was able to do so despite a large, unexpected delay caused by our initial buyer. Then, he kept the eventual buyer (and me) calm (and on schedule) despite holiday-related difficulties I had obtaining required info from my condo association. Selling an apartment while living in another state, during a global pandemic, when the real estate market was slow, should have been the worst real estate experience of my life…especially since my first five apartment sales were in NYC during the real estate boom.
