About Jeff
Principal, Kaptain/Kaptain Real Estate Group
Born and raised in Souther California, Jeff graduated with honors from UCLA with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting.
Jeff began his professional career working for one of the top accounting firms in Los Angeles, KPMG. After earning his CPA license, he joined his twin brother working in residential real estate sales in 2002. Besides the practical knowledge gained from understanding residential real estate in Los Angeles (he has owned, rented, and renovated properties in various areas around the city), Jeff was drawn to the fact that every day is different in real estate. All different types of properties, conditions of properties, parts of town, and client needs create a set of variables that he loves the challenge of putting together. Aside from being a natural problem solver, Jeff prides himself in keeping up with industry best practices and market trends — insights that help him provide relevant, insightful expertise to his clients.
Jeff is a dad of two, and loves coaching his daughters’ soccer teams. He also enjoys playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with his family including their two dogs. In 2018, Jeff helped develop the DoingMore charitable giving campaign his business implemented that same year - the idea for which stemmed from a charitable donation his 7-year-old daughter made to an animal shelter earlier in the year.
