The ocean has always been Joshua’s second home. At thirteen, he began diving along Marin’s rugged coastline, exploring kelp forests that once swayed like underwater cities... until they didn’t. Over the years, he watched those ecosystems collapse in slow motion: urchins spread, otters disappeared, and the delicate coastal balance he grew up with quietly unraveled.
