Growing up in Abilene, Mike Bates always looked toward Dallas as the “Big City’’ full of opportunities and he longed to be part of that experience. I try and help them see how we’re going to get from the starting line to the finish. If clients get overwhelmed, I try to get to the root of the issue first and see if it’s got a solution. I also let a client know it’s okay to be overwhelmed and that I’m there to help them.”
