Steve grew up in Southern California, moving to northern California in 1967 after receiving his Bachelors degree in Business from Cal Poly, Pomona. During the next few years he was working as a salesman in the fledgling computer business and eventually selected the Material Handling industry to make his mark.
In 1973, he joined the Clark Equipment Co. as a national account salesman and for the next 30 years succeeded in various management and sales positions within that industry, rising to Vice President of Marketing with a Bay Area equipment distributor.
Working closely with his clients throughout the Bay Area, some for as long as 20 years, Steve firmly believes in long term relationships and the commitment it takes to maintain them. The skills he has used to negotiate transactions has helped provide his clients with the best possible service.
Steve and his wife moved permanently to the Peninsula in 1982 and raised their 3 boys in local Menlo Park and Redwood City schools. As an active member of the St. Raymond School community, he served on the school board for two years and as a volunteer track coach for 21 years, all of this giving him invaluable knowledge of the Peninsula and the people who live here.
