Since 2003 Toni Hanna has been serving the communities of the East Bay as a top-producing agent. Based at the Berkeley office of Compass, her expertise extends to the communities in the 510-area code—Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, Albany, El Cerrito, Kensington, Emeryville, Alameda, and Richmond.
Her clients often remark that buying or selling a home with Toni is both educational and fun! Toni’s personal approach to real estate combines experience and empathy, in what is for many people the most important transaction of their lives. Underpinning that approach is her guiding principle: “What kind of a Realtor would I want on the job?”
Toni is known for her creative approach to listing properties and problem-solving, spearheading remodels or suggesting improvements to show homes in their best light, setting many record sales in the process. Her distinctive listings have been featured in The Wall Street Journal (Home of the Day), Dwell, Curbed, Berkeleyside and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Much of Toni’s business comes from repeat clients and client referrals—a testament to her clients’ rewarding experiences under her care.
An East Bay resident since 1982, Toni is a UC Berkeley alumna and Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to entering real estate, she had a 15-year career in film and television production, advertising and marketing—all skills she brings to bear in marketing properties today.
Toni is a member of the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Oakland/Berkeley Association of Realtors, and the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association. She holds a GREEN certification from N.A.R., which qualifies her to advise clients on the many ecologically sustainable options available to homeowners today.
