About Sheila

A proud Charlottean since 1997, I’ve had the privilege of watching this incredible city transform over the years. I remember the days before I-485 was a full loop (and yes, they’re still working on it!). I’ve cheered on the Hornets through their journey from the Bobcats and back, caught Michael Jordan in action at the Hive, and spent countless Sundays rooting for the Panthers. One of my favorite traditions? The Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow—it’s not just an event, it’s an experience, showcasing the beauty and vibrance of our city.
Though originally from Pittsburgh, PA, where I earned a BA in Marketing at Robert Morris University, I’ve called Charlotte home—and nothing compares. Sure, I miss the food and the sports teams from back home (not the weather—no thank you!), and I’ve also lived in Wilmington, DE, Annapolis, MD, and suburban Detroit. But Charlotte has been the perfect place to raise my family, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
