Historic Home in the Hudson, N.Y. Area Will Enter the Market

As originally reported by and published on The Wall Street Journal, a historic home in New York’s Hudson Valley will hit the the market for $4.35 million.

According to listing agent Marina T. Schindler of Compass, one of the oldest homes in the Hudson area is on the property, formerly known as Hudson Bush Farm. The brick house is in Columbia County, about 120 miles north of Manhattan.

The current sellers are screenwriters Rupert Wyatt and Erica Beeney. They bought the property (about 29 acres) in 2015 for about $2 million. In June, the median listing price in Columbia County was $499,000, up 25.1% from the same time last year, according to Realtor.com.
