The world famous Greenbrier Resort is about 40 minutes' drive and Snowshoe Ski Resort is about 2 hours' drive. Roanoke is 2 hours, DC is 4 hours and Charlotte is 3 hours away. Directions Preferred Route (longer but better paved): From the Dawson Interchange on I-64 (Exit 150) go by the Exxon Station and Dawson Inn keeping them on your left to the “T” intersection. Take a left on Dawson Road (CR 29) and go 1 mile and take a right on the Crag Road (CR 24). Travel ¾ mile and take left (staying on CR24) and travel 2 miles to the intersection of CR 24 and CR20/3, bare left staying on CR24 and go 1 mile and take left on 24/1 for 8/10ths miles. Take a left on 24/2 (Coal Hollow Rd) for ¾ mile, property is on right just passed a large pond. From Rainelle. Travel James River Kanawha Turnpike 2.5 miles and take right on CR24 and travel 1.25 miles and bare right at three way intersection on Craig Road and travel 2.2 miles and take a right on 24/1 for ¾ mile and take a left on 24/2 (Coal Hollow Rd) for ¾ mile, property is on right just passed a large pond.
