The neighborhood of Trophy Club was designed in the 1970s as a housing development surrounding a country club. With a prime location along the State Highway 114 corridor, Trophy Club was named for the original plan that it would display the large trophy collection of professional golfer Ben Hogan, who designed its golf course.
